Hi my sweet friends. I can only give out three hard copies of the book, but in the spirit of the holiday season and 26 Acts of Kindness, everyone is a winner! First, the winners of the signed paperback copy of my first novel Crooked Love are:
Becky B., Monica B. and LeeAnn! Congratulations, just send me your mailing address and I will send the book out to you with love.
Everyone else who entered before today, I think it’s 20 people who entered total, so the other 17 gorgeous people get the E-book for free! Yay!
I will still donate the two dollars for each book to the charities who saved Bexon, The Infantile Scoliosis Outreach Program and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
If you enjoy the book, please just tell a friend about it (or if you have a blog or Facebook, if you would consider mentioning it, that would be awesome).
Since there is no advertising budget, marketing or PR, word of mouth is the only way other readers will find it.
E-book winners: Just send me your email address to GirltoMom@gmail.com and it will be in your inbox today! Put Crooked Love book in the subject line so I don’t miss it.
Remember, it’s only $5.99 for the Crooked Love E Book and it’s easy and fast to give as a last minute Christmas gift, too. Two dollars of every book goes to charity, so the book really only costs $3.99. That’s like, the cost of a large latte at Starbucks!
I just heard from a talented comedy writer I admire named Bill that he’s about five chapters into the book and loves it, he has over 10,000 Twitter followers (@WilliamAder) and he said “It reads like a thriller.”
I was so flattered, he said he’s going to write me a review when he’s finished.
But this is who is on my mind this week, in addition my little boy of course, and these are the faces I will remember forever:
I’ve made a donation to one of the charities founded by the families who lost their babies, and I’ll be looking for ways in which I can spread little acts of kindness in my daily life to help honor the legacy of the children and faculty of Newtown.
You are in my heart all day, every day. This has been life changing, for me. I will do everything I can for the rest of my life to honor you and help work for positive change in your memory and in the warmth of your light.
