I have given the Bratz company a piece of my mind in the past for their dolls that sometimes, in my humble opinion, are dressed very inappropriately for young girls. As you know, I’m NO prude (that’s an understatement- ha) when it comes to adult things, but these toys are aimed at children.
But this was a nice surprise to see from the Bratz company- dolls that support cancer research at City of Hope, a very worthy cause.
It says on the back of the box they donate one dollar of every sale to the cause, but what I like even better is that children with cancer have mainstream dolls that look like them if they must endure chemo (a horrifying thought at any age). It’s empowering and validating.
They have boy ones, too. Well, done, Bratz and Moxie Girlz, sometimes the little things really do make a huge difference. XOXO ~ Heidi
