AHHHHH! I’m so excited, I can’t believe it, you guys. I wrote a book.
What? Shut up, Heidi. No, it’s true. My first novel. I should be getting the hard (paper) copy tomorrow to hold in my hand. It looks like a real book, doesn’t it?
I had to live it in order to write about it, and I would never have chosen that path for me and my son in a million years, but the gift is that now I can share my story.
Telling our stories is one of the best things we can do for each other, I think. For each other and for ourselves. When I read a good book, it’s like spending time with a friend. A burden shared is cut in half and a joy shared is doubled.
If the paper copy looks good, it will be available in the next couple of days. I can’t wait for you to read it! YAY!
Love,
~ Heidi

Yay!!!!!!
Yay!
I am looking forward to getting this book. Where will it be sold at? Congrats again Heidi and family.

Hi Monica! It will be sold online in both a paperback and an e book version, I’ll have a link up here on the blog soon, hopefully by tomorrow, for the paperback print version. It will be first available on Create Space, where I created the cover, etc., but it’ll also be on Amazon.com soon. The e book will be available a little later on Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook. You can download a Kindle app for free to read the e book on your computer if you don’t own a Kindle. Details to come soon! Thank you for asking.
YAY! Just in time, since finals will be over this week!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited, and I’m only a fan, I can’t imagine what it must feel like for you! WOOOOHOOOOO! You should do what Jenny did and send a little autographed sticker! After I read it, can I mail it to you so you could sign it?! I’d even pay for the postage both ways
I just realized my comment sounds like I’m an oober stalker, please ignore that, I’m a sleep deprived college kid!
No, no way, thank you!
Oh of course I’ll sign it! Go you on your finals!
What the what?? How have I never figured out you wrote for Dawson’s Creek?? I think I love you even more now than I did before. Oh. And I am totally buying this book!
Thank you, Becky! I wrote the episode where Dawson turns 16 years old and gets drunk for the first time.
Of course I did.
Haha! Of course you did.
