Happy Pictures Project

Happy Boy

Hey you! I have a fun idea and I need your help. I’m asking for you to send in pictures that make you happy. I want to celebrate the good and spread a little joy.

The photos can be of yourself, you and your friends and family, your kids, and your pets (you know we love animal pictures at Girl to Mom). You don’t have to be in the photos you send, but I would love to see your smiling, beautiful face.

If a flower makes you happy, you can send that in too, the plan is that I will post YOUR photos here on this website (which currently gets about 3,000-4,000 unique readers per day. So you’ll be famous! Sort of). :-)

Feel free to send in cell phone photos or Instagram ones too, also edited pics like the one of Bex above that I “framed” on PicMonkey.com.

(Psst…you can even remove zits and wrinkles on that free photo editing site.)

You can also send old classic family photos, like you as a kid or your parents at their wedding.

The quality of the image doesn’t matter as long as it’s not too blurry to enjoy, and as long as they are pictures that are yours and you and the picture subjects are okay with them being shown on the blog post.

This project is NOT a photo contest, it’s just a vibe of good energy, love and happiness. Please email me your pictures at GirltoMom@gmail.com any time in the next week or so.

Put Happy Pictures Project in your email subject line, and feel free to describe the picture to me and why it makes you happy, if you don’t mind if I include your words in the post. (No words are necessary, though.)

There’s not really a deadline, but if you’re anything like me, please send it before you forget. :-) There’s no limit to entries.

I can’t wait to see your beautiful images. And just think, you’ll be doing a good deed by spreading your own personal warmth and glow, think of it as a little cyber sunbeam of humanity and love.

XOXO,

~ Heidi

    Hi Heidi,

I just sent you a picture. Thank you so much for putting something like this together. Happy is a good thing. No matter what else is happening in your life you need happy to put it in perspective. I can’t wait to see what everyone else’s idea of happy looks like!
