I love this quote so much.
All of us are more powerful than we think we are.
What we put our energy on expands.
It doesn’t mean I don’t want to be humble, it’s the opposite, in a way.
I feel like when we recognize our power, we can harness it for more good.
When we feel small we tend to shrink away from the world, from living life.
Or we can become self destructive, like I have in the past.
In a way, I see that now as selfish. What right do I have to self destruct when the world can use another nice person here? It’s ego in reverse.
You don’t have to be loud to be powerful inside, of course, quiet power is some of the most riveting and inspiring (like pretty much all of the great spiritual leaders in time).
We each have something uniquely to give, a smile can do a lot and our souls and passions can move mountains, bit by bit.
It’s inspiring that each and every morning, we have that chance to consider what’s important to us and to do our best. All of the vast beaches of the world had to begin with a single grain of sand, right?
Breathe. Laugh. Take a chance. Run. Dance. Kiss. Reach out your hand. Pick up the phone. Hold someone tight. To hell with fear, it’s a lie.
