Bex: (Age 5, his middle name is Lightning, for reals- innocently and sincerely asks me): “How do I use my lightning, Mommy? How do I use my power?”
Hmm…run fast? He does run fast. How does a mother answer this?
I think I’ll teach him to be himself, to be true to his inner voice, to know that he is an incredible miracle and he is forever loved and that love is the greatest power of all.
