This morning, I just spent a long time talking to a new friend of mine I’ll call Hal. Hal told me the most amazing story of what happened when he died.
I want to share it with you because it may help someone else. If you don’t agree with the spiritual message or believe the story, don’t worry- I’m just telling it like he told me. I’ve known him for a while and I believe he’s telling the truth as he sees it.
Hal flatlined and died and was in a body bag- he temporarily perished from severe alcohol poisoning and fell on the sidewalk and some acquaintances of his saw this and took him to the hospital.
He didn’t “come to” or wake up for a week. When Hal died he says his spirit experienced something very similar to what you hear in many other stories- he didn’t have the weight of his human body, he could sort of float or fly, he moved into sound and light…
He especially experienced sound and a tremendous energy.
He was warmly welcomed with pure love by all of the people he had loved or had a strong connection to who passed on before him. He says he had a complete understanding of his past lives and why we have to keep coming back in different forms until we get the lessons.
He also experienced the message from his spiritual leaders, he used the names Jesus and God, but he says all religions have the same core message about life…
He was told that he hadn’t completed his contract yet and so he was being sent back to his human life to do so.
Hal said each life has a “Blueprint” so to speak, and that to follow it we only need to listen to our Higher Selves, in other words, our true spirit, our conscience, gut instinct, etc.
He said that our human selves listen to our Lower Selves and that’s where we get off track in life and have to find our way back to the Divine Plan.
Our Lower Selves might tell us we need fame, more money, more food, drugs, etc.- but that is not what life is really about. It’s not about the “cash and prizes,” so to speak. It’s about our spiritual path- and of course, God is love and we are of God, so we are love.
The message I took from his wow story is very comforting, because most of it, if not all, rings true for me. I am not lost, I just need to follow my true instincts and the dots will connect and I will be on my blueprint, the right path for me.
And if you get off it for a while or however long, get back on track, baby! It’s still waiting for you with open arms. Hal has been sober for almost a decade.
