Happy Valentine’s Day from me and my Karate Kid. HI-YAH!
As I wrote last week, Bex was being pushed down in Kindergarten and he was scared to go back to school the next day, so among other things, we put him in Karate to build his confidence. He’s happy and the outfit alone is worth it.
Soooo, if anyone wants their ass handed to them by a five year old, his hands are lethal weapons, man. Ok, maybe not, but his big brown eyes are, (to me, anyway).
I just got back from going on his school field trip to Louise’s Trattoria restaurant, where the kids got to make their own pizzas from scratch and then eat them. 25 kids all talking at once, I’m plum exhausted from their energy.
I’m giving the restaurant a little shout out because they do it as a community outreach for free. We parents made sure to tip the waitress, of course.
When my sweetie Bex gets home from school, we’re making vanilla Valentine heart cupcakes. This is a no diet day and I’m NOT working out, yay!
A new thing I’m gonna try from Dr. Oz is to use one cup of Fage plain nonfat Greek yogurt instead of oil and eggs in the cake mix. It sounds healthy and cuts calories, I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Today I’m eating lots of seafood and chocolate, two of my favorite things.
I hope you have a beautiful day and do something special for yourself.
If no one’s told you they love you today, I love you! ♥ ❤❥ ❦❧♥♡
XOXO-
