Little Girl’s Clothes: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Zebra Tutu Dress

I think we can all agree that this pink sequined zebra tutu dress for little girls is pretty horrible. See, I’m not completely crazy for all things sparkly. I have limits, people.

But I actually think this next pink sweater dress with leopard detail is cute and sort of wish it came in my size.

Pink Leopard Child dress

This next one does come in my size, but I don’t think any mother in her right mind should wear it for Halloweeen… Well, not in public, anyway:

Hello Kitty Costume

No, no I didn’t buy it! I still think I’m going as Glinda the Good Witch. This last one is for kids, and at least it’s better than that zebra monstrosity:

French-ish? Oui oui or inappropriate? Merde!

If I ever do have a little girl (besides myself), maybe I better stick to the classics.

Actually, I kind of love the last one.

The Hello Kitty for grown-ups was just toooooo “pedophiles fantasy” for me. You know? Creepy. Plus, it bugged me that the mannequin’s pointy boobs were just below the ears, making Kitty look like she had four ears instead of two.

And I agree, the pink and leopard sweater would rock with leggings and cute fur topped boots.

(I probably shouldn’t be allowed to dress myself…)

I have no daughters so I’m pretty sure one of my boys owes me a grand daughter. At which point, he’d better be prepared for Mommy’s Hellaciously Inappropriate Taste in Little Girl Clothing.

    Sad but true.

You’re right, the nipples are right below the kitty ears! I didn’t even notice that. I took these pictures at the mall with my cell phone today. Leggings and boots with the sweater dress, totally.

The Hello Kitty dress is too much for my taste. But the sweater dress I would wear myself!
I’m thinking your daughter is going to be a tomboy out of self defense so have fun trying to dress her girlie….lol that lasts about 3 years then they get all opinion-y and stuff.
    Brats.
