Well hello friend! I’m guest blogging for my Momz ’cause she’s getting her hair did today.
How was your weekend? Were you all “Party in da club, bottle full of bub?” Me, too!
Yo, my weekend was off the hook! Dude, this morning I had to look out the window to see if my ride was still where I left it.
You want excitement? We got that.
A Roly Poly bug! Right in my back yard! I KNOW! I was all like, what- what- what? Are you freakin’ kiddin’ me? Some folks call them pill bugs, but I call them a Slingblade.
I like me some french fried po-taters. Why am I talking like Billy Bob Thorton in the movie “Slingblade”? Because we party like it’s 1999 around here! Or whatever year that movie was made. I know ya feel me.
You are never gonna believe what else I found all up in da hizzle. Wait for it…
A slug! Check yo-self before you wreck yo-self! A slug is a snail without a shell. I think. I don’t know, I like slimy.
My Momz can’t get enough of looking under yard tiles every single day with me to look for them! She likes bugs way better than flowers.
Then I chillaxed in my PJs and rocked it on my orange bucket with my boy, mini T-Rex.
My Opa (Grandpa), my Daddy’s Dad, visited for the weekend and we went up to Brophy Brother’s seafood restaurant in the Ventura Marina for lunch. I love having my Opa visit, I’ve known since I was in my first crib there was something special about having him in my life. Grandparents are cool, yo.
My Opa lost his own Dad when he was two years old- younger than me! It happened when there was a cease fire called in World War Two- but somebody shot him when he stuck his head out of a tank to look around. Opa has gotten to see my Daddy become forty years old already! My Dad’s old- Whoa!
I’m so glad my Opa immigrated from Germany and had my Daddy with my Nana so I can rock life.
On that note, I rocked my dino hoodie and my stegosaurus lid at lunch, and the pretty waitress with nice stems gave me bread and butter! We got to sit on the deck and look at big rad boats and seagulls.
Then I rode a zebra on the carousel at the Arcade nearby and got a Birthday Cake flavored ice cream cone before I passed out in the car.
A sugar rush is better than heroin! Not that I would know. I’m drug free, baby.
Humphrey Bogart Kitty came to visit and I kissed him on his cat lips. I wore my tiger PJs to make it a theme occasion.
Then my Mommy sang me my jams before bedtime: “The Rainbow Connection” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and in the morning I peered out the window and my ride (my tricycle) was just where I left it! BOOYAH!
This has been Weekend Update with Bex Lightning.
I hope you have an awesome week and live out loud, baby!
